Mercury is the planet of the mind and Jupiter of opportunity: their harmonious alignment spells smooth communication, strong communities, and optimism. However, it can also mean that exaggerations or overindulgences take place. Maybe someone says a little too much… maybe they share too much of the truth, or perhaps they share too much of a theory or hunch without clarifying that it’s not fact… either way, this could make for a busy day for communication, so be discerning!
Mercury in Libra opposes Chiron in Aries at 10:36 AM on October 8 — Talk it out.
Mercury in Libra wants all sides of a story to be heard, and Chiron in Aries wants any hurt to be dealt with head-on. This could be a powerful time to confront an issue and get it all (whatever “it all” is) out in the open. A healing conversation could ultimately take place.
Venus in Scorpio trines Mars in Cancer at 1:03 PM on October 8 — Romance!
Venus is all about attraction, and Mars loves the chase: their harmonious alignment bodes well for getting what your heart desires! This alignment takes place in two water signs, Scorpio and Pisces, which value intimacy and emotional connection. They are not satisfied with light banter or surface connections; they want to get deep. Venus, Scorpio, and Mars in Cancer want to know your secret fantasies, wishes, and feelings. Profound bonds could form at this time.

People may feel optimistic during this period. Elders and wise people might connect us with tremendous opportunities. Sometimes, people imagine they must search far and wide to find answers, but sometimes, the solution isn’t too far from home.
Mercury in Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn at 10:02 AM on October 13 — Tell me what you really think!
Mercury in Libra likes to keep things cute and polite, but Pluto in Capricorn stirs the pot. Secrets could spill. Someone might tell you what they really think. But… is it what they think, or are they just heated in the moment? Call in Libra’s sense of balance and Capricorn’s grounded energy if things feel over-the-top dramatic.
In the best-case scenario, people stay respectful, and a communication breakthrough occurs; however, people with short tempers or who have felt very picked on lately could also snap under the pressure and offer a piece of their mind. Be patient with yourself and others.

This could also be a potent time for intimate relationships as emotional bonds could deepen through the meaningful discussions that might take place.

This alignment could find us making decisive actions to protect our peace. People might feel very defensive during this period, and the older the wound, the stronger the reaction could be. This could be a very powerful time to release resentments, if we’re ready to do so!
