Mercury left it’s post retrograde shadow today, May 13, at 4:02 AM ET — blessed be! We’ve really left Mercury retrograde’s trenches now that we’ve cleared the shadow: new ideas, conversations, and plans could emerge. Maybe I’ll finally figure out whether or not to week this Substack as a weekly thing, or a monthly one? Let me know what you think in the comments! All in all, weekly horoscopes add up to a greater word count than monthlies, even though some weeklies are shorter than others. It comes down to whether or not people want all of the month’s info in one bundle or throughout the month?

Sun conjunct Uranus in Taurus at 5:14 AM on May 13 — Freak Flags Fly!

Be yourself! The sun wouldn’t have it any other way. The sun is all about being true to you, no matter how weird or wacky it is. You being your honest self is how happiness and success manifest. The things that make you unique could bring you great success now.

We might hear about exciting inventions or innovations now. Shocking news could be shared. Something unexpected could take place. A new cycle begins, one where we invite experimentation and novelty.

Venus in Taurus sextile Saturn in Pisces at 3:45 PM on May 13 — Great time to go ring shopping?

Venus is the planet of love and money and Saturn is the planet of hard work and responsibility. Venus and Saturn's happy alignment could spell fruitful discussions about future plans. People could be in a productive, helpful, focused mood. There might be a focus on valuable items like jewelry, art, or real estate.

I love this combination of the sun meeting Uranus and Venus connecting with Saturn on May 13! It’s a great blend of novelty and security, excitement and dependability.

Taurus is a Fixed Earth sign, and has a reputation for being stubborn. Mercury is all about communication and flexibility, but in Taurus, things could move slowly. Changing people’s minds about things could be difficult.
