Upcoming April Relaunch

We're almost back :) (No, this is not an April Fool's joke)

Happy spring!

This Substack will relaunch on April 13, 2025! Billing will be turned back on that day, and a live meetup for paid subscribers will occur that afternoon at 12 PM ET. As usual, the link to the live will go out that day.

I paused this Substack to reimagine what my content would look like.

After almost ten years of writing daily and monthly horoscopes at my former publisher, I had the writer's version of "legs on autopilot."

I couldn't break out of my horoscope-writing rhythm. I didn't know how to stop writing horoscopes — I didn’t know if I could stop, it was all I knew how to do, and the idea of taking time off to rethink what else I could offer didn’t even cross my mind because I was so stuck in my flow. When you abruptly stop running, sometimes your legs don't get the message, and you keep going until you find a way to break the stride. Almost a year later, I finally realized it was time to pause and rethink how I approach the content I publish.

For this Substack, I am moving away from general sun sign horoscopes and focusing on live meetups where I can interact with you all.

Because I want people to be able to speak freely, the audio for the meetups won't be recorded. Instead, the entire content will be repackaged into text with the help of Zoom’s AI assistant (it summarizes meetings), so folks can read it if they can't attend the live event. This will allow people to ask questions anonymously during the live event; plus, you still have something fun to read in your inbox!

The meetups will occur around the new and full moons, so two or three times a month, depending on when the new and full moons occur. They will cover the chart for the lunation, insights for each zodiac sign, audience Q&A, and a chat about whatever's on my mind that month.

Of course, this is a very different offering than the one I offered when you first signed up; however, it's of better value for you. Previously, if you read your sun and rising sign's horoscope as a paid subscriber, assuming your sun and rising are two different signs, you only got 16.7% of the work I provided for the week. That's... a terrible ratio. If a meetup lasts one hour and about ten minutes of it is devoted to zodiac signs that aren't relevant to you, then, yay, the remaining 50 or so minutes of it will likely be of interest to you. That’s a much better value!

So, what will be free, and what will be for paid subscribers? The overview of the lunation will be free for everyone, and paid subscribers will get the zodiac sign overviews and the rest of the content.

Again, this is a different offering than the one paid subscribers signed up for, so if you have been a paid subscriber since before the relaunch and you decide you don’t like it, I'm happy to give you a prorated refund. (But please understand that the banks can take a while to process refunds and that it's out of my control how long it takes!) I hope you stay. Again, this offering is of better value, and you'll still get zodiac sign insights, plus more time to connect with me live and ask about your chart (or, if you can’t come to the live, you can send me questions to answer later on air!).
