Welcome back!

We’re in the second installment of my relaunch, and it’s going swimmingly 🐠 šŸŒ ✨

Around every new and full moon, paid subscribers and I have a live meet-up. What you’ll read here is my AI assistant’s summary of the conversation (plus anything else that comes to my mind after our meetup that I want to add!).

As always, remember that all content, from astrology and horoscopes to whatever else I discuss, is for entertainment purposes only. Enjoy!

The next live meetup will be Saturday, May 10, at 3 PM ET. I hope to see you there!

1. The New Moon in Taurus on April 27: Accepting Ambiguity

The new moon in Taurus brings an exciting period of renewal but also a time of stress as we navigate many unknowns. This Taurus new moon challenges our comfort with ambiguity and asks explicitly: Will we lose our cool when faced with uncertainty, or can we tap into our physical awareness to stay calm and grounded?

Fully engaging with our surroundings and focusing on our senses calms the nervous system, while doom-scrolling heightens anxiety. Which will you choose to engage in during this new moon? Strengthening our presence and ability to be in the moment could bring great success as we move forward with our new moon ventures.

I remember when I used to struggle with panic attacks, well-meaning people told me to find things I could see, touch, taste, smell, to help bring me back to center… It never worked 😹 This trite suggestion and ā€œhave you tried meditation?ā€ annoyed me so much. Yes — I had tried everything! But, eventually, what I learned is that I had to practice taking in my environment regularly and when I was feeling centered, not panicked, to build the internal resources I needed. This is a beautiful new moon to connect with your senses consciously and allow goodness and safety to build on itself by embracing each moment of peace and cultivating it in our day-to-day lives, not only when we are stressed out.

This new moon is ruled by Venus, which is currently sitting with Saturn in Pisces’s final degrees. There might be a feeling of just making it in before a door slams shut—perhaps winning a race by a toe, creating a moment of high drama. Venus and Saturn make for unlikely companions; while Saturn isn't cozy or cuddly, and Venus sure loves her romance, their pairing creates excellent energy for commitments and solid unions.
