I dislike sending newsletters! I figured if you wanted to see what I'm teaching, publishing, or if you want to connect with me you’d look on my socials or my website. I figured if you wanted to read my horoscopes, you’d go directly where they were published. I didn’t have anything to send in a newsletter that you couldn’t find elsewhere, so I didn’t feel right doing it. But, now that my horoscopes are no longer at VICE, a newsletter/substack feels right. And I’m happy to be here!
I transferred my mailchimp contacts to substack, so if you subscribed to be on my mailing list back in the day, that’s why you’re receiving this email now. Sorry I haven’t been in touch! Please unsubscribe if this topic no longer interests you, my feelings will not be hurt!
So, I was OOO (“out of office” for those of you who don’t work in one) for quite a while when we got the news on Thursday that VICE’s website would be no longer. My wonderful colleague Randon Gabrielle was going to write the monthlies for March since I was OOO. As a result, I do not have horoscopes prepared for you this month. I returned to the office on Monday, which was when I received the news that I (and hundreds of others) would no longer be with the company. There was no way I could write monthlies in time for March 1 after getting the news on Feb 26, so Monthlies will be coming your way starting in April.
Are you an editor seeking daily horoscopes for your publication? I have NINE years experience, I’m a fast writer and I’m available, so reach out!
Anyway — back to the upcoming Monthlies! I’m going to do things differently than I did at VICE. I will be sharing a thorough look at the transits and talking about them broadly rather than by sign. After that thorough look, I will do a short detailing of what each aspect/ingress means for the zodiac signs. If you listen to astrology podcasts where the astrologers talk about what the transits mean in general for everyone regardless of zodiac sign, it’ll be like that with some specific details for signs at the end.
My calendar is open for astrology and tarot sessions, you can book a spot here.
If you haven’t checked out my books yet, give them a look. There is The Moon Sign Guide and The Astrology of Love & Sex.
Advanced beginner astrologers: If you’re picking up The Moon Sign Guide, I suggest you look up what sign your progressed moon was in during an important period of your life and checking out that chapter in addition to the chapter regarding your natal moon and your currently progressed moon.
Intermediate astrologers: If you’re picking up The Astrology of Love & Sex, read the How Does Compatibility Work section and note how I describe the chemistry between zodiac signs in relation to the house distance between them.
Speaking of books, I’m frequently asked what my favorite astrology books are, and I thought I’d close this letter with a list:
Predictive Astrology: The Eagle and the Lark by Bernadette Brady
Dial Detective - Investigation with the 90 Degree Dial by Maria Kay Simms
Thanks for signing up! Good luck this month, and see you in April!
I loved your horoscopes 🥹 also how detailed they were...
Excited for this! Love the tips for Astro students you included!
